Prayer Request from Amy Primm


Subject: Will ya?

Hi everyone!

I know it's a little late to be sending this out....but I am leaving for Tanzania tomorrow and I was hoping to get some people committed to praying for the trip.
Tomorrow we will be flying from Chicago to Istanbul, Turkey and then to Nairobi, Kenya. From there we will take an eight hour bus ride to Tarime, Tanzania where we will be staying at Angel House Orphange. There are about 50 kids there, and there are also about 50 kids of the Tanzanian staff who work at the orphanage and schools. We are excited to be bringing over 200 lbs. of gifts (clothes, toys, school supplies, etc.) to them!

While we are there we will be painting a school that has just been built and will open in January. We will also be spending a lot of time with the kids, teaching them English, tutoring them in other subjects, and just playing with them and loving on them. We also hope to go into to town and minister to the people there too.

Things to be praying for:
-The five of us going on the trip: Cari Dague, Anna McCay, Elizabeth Wilmott, John Bollinger, and me
-Safe travels
-No lost/stolen luggage
-Stay healthy (no malaria, typhoid, food sickness, etc.)
-The country of Tanzania
- Missionaries and staff of Angel House Orphanage
-The kids and each of their life situations
-That we can be a blessing to the community
-Preparations for the opening of the new school
-Faith in action
-Strong relationships
-Fun
-God's will be done
-Our families back home

We will be returning on December 16th...I hope you get this email before then and get in a few prayers as well. Thanks so much for your prayers and for being a part of this faith experience. I can't wait for all that God is going to do on this trip!
